Hi Everyone! My name is Adrienne Church Lucas. I live in New York, in a small town on the south shore of Long Island. Sayville, my village town, is near the seashore, thus the name of my blog. I live in an old Victorian home with my little family, and a few fur babies to keep it interesting.
I am excited by all things vintage, in decorating and in fashion.
Designing and fabricating home and yacht interiors has been keeping me busy, but I decided to start a blog to journal my passion for sewing and creating.
I am inspired by the creative individuals around me as well as the many talented women (and men!) that I have come across in Blogland.
I love dressmaking, quilting, crafting, and decorating my home.
I am a graduate of the University of Rhode Island Master Seamstress Program.
Most importantly, I am blessed with an amazing husband and the sweetest son ever. I love my family and my friends dearly and I so appreciate all of your support.
